Refund and Cancellation Policy for Virtual Consultations and Prescription Medication

We are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients. To ensure smooth operations and clarity, we have established the following refund and cancellation policies for virtual consultations and prescription medications.

1. Virtual Consultations

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations Made 12+ Hours Before Appointment:

    • Clients can cancel or reschedule their appointment at no charge, provided the cancellation is made at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

  • Cancellations Made Less Than 12 Hours Before Appointment:

    • Appointments canceled less than 12 hours before the scheduled time are non-refundable. However, clients may reschedule the appointment once within 7 days without incurring additional charges.

  • No-Shows:

    • Clients who do not attend their scheduled appointment and fail to provide prior notice will be charged a $75 no-show fee. This fee is non-refundable and will be charged to the payment method on file.

Technical Issues:

  • If technical difficulties on our end prevent the consultation from occurring, clients will be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling at no additional cost.

2. Prescription Medications

Dispensing Fees:

  • Prescription medication dispensing fees are non-refundable once the prescription has been processed and shipped/delivered.

Return Policy:

  • For safety and compliance reasons, prescription medications cannot be returned or refunded after they have been shipped or dispensed. Exceptions apply in the event of pharmacy errors (e.g., incorrect medication).

Order Cancellations:

  • Clients may cancel orders for prescription medications before processing begins for a full refund. Once processing has started, cancellations cannot be accommodated.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.

  • Refunds for transactions processed through Stripe are subject to Stripe’s non-refundable processing fees.

4. General Policies

Medical Emergencies:

  • If a cancellation or no-show is due to a documented medical emergency, the cancellation fee or no-show charge may be waived. Documentation must be provided within 5 business days of the missed appointment.

  • Clients are encouraged to contact our support team at hello@onebodymedicine.com or call us at (818) 350-3616 for assistance before initiating charge disputes. Unresolved disputes may be escalated to Stripe’s Dispute Management system.
